Perfect brand ambassador for Rosbacher’s 2:1 ideal

The Hassia Group is one of Germany’s largest mineral water businesses and encompasses six subsidiary companies: "Hassia Mineralquellen" headquarters in Bad Vilbel, Lichtenauer Mineralquellen, Glashäger Mineralbrunnen, Thüringer Waldquell, Wilhelmsthaler Mineralbrunnen and Rapp’s Kelterei.

The fifth generation family business was founded in 1864 and is located in Germany’s federal state of Hesse. The Hassia Group owns a portfolio of strong brands, offering a selection of mineral waters and alcohol-free mineral water based soft drinks in the premium end of the market.

The brands managed from headquarters in Bad Vilbel are hassia, bizzl, Bad Vilbeler Elisabethen Quelle, Bad Vilbeler UrQuelle and Rosbacher. With its 2:1 ideal, Rosbacher is among the best developing brands in the company’s portfolio.

In 2007, the Group generated a turnover of EUR 227 Mils. from sales of 780 Mils. litres with 1.250 employees.

Michael Schumacher’s relationship with Rosbacher is based on positive experiences and genuine conviction. Since his first encounter with the brand eight years ago, Rosbacher has become a regular part of his nutrition and fitness plan. Rosbacher is not only rich in magnesium, but also, thanks to its 2:1 ideal ratio between calcium and magnesium, guarantees Michael a perfect supply of these important minerals.

With every drop of sweat, the human body loses minerals, among them calcium and magnesium in a 2:1 ratio. Rosbacher is one of few mineral waters, that is provided these minerals in an ideal ratio by nature. These quickly compensate this loss of minerals. However, the premium brand Rosbacher is still a regional champion, which would normally not be associated with athletes in Michael’s league. This makes Hassia Group and all employees all the more proud, that Michael Schumacher has been brand ambassador for Rosbacher and has represented the brand in the public limelight since January 2006.
